Explore the ongoing exhibit, "Stories of Survival: An Immersive Journey Through the Holocaust", depicting the Holocaust through the stories of four local survivors,  including holographic and virtual reality technologies, historical objects, artifacts, and artwork by local artist Robert Sutz. ​

Engage with our knowledgeable docents, volunteers, and special guests as you delve into these remarkable stories. Spend a quiet afternoon learning of the past while reflecting about the present.​

Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase. ​


Cost:

Limited tickets are available to be purchased at the door the day of the event for $20. They are limited in number and not confirmed. We highly recommend you purchase tickets prior to the day of the event by clicking the date of attendance below.

  • January 12, 2025​ - Picturegrams - Join us for an impactful journey through AZJHS’ World War II Picturegrams collection! Discover these captivating posters from the 1940s that transformed news into vibrant, public visual storytelling, which is why these are referred to as th"Instagram of WWII." On display will be Picturegrams portraying General Eisenhower during the war, images from the European front and Hollywood stars who supported the war effort. 

    Also on Display, will be the Allach Porcelain figurines from the factory in Dachau concentration camp.

  • March 30​, 2025 - Live Music Performance - Experience a poignant musical tribute with a live performance of Christie Morrison's Music. An accomplished composer and music educator working with local schools, Morrison has composed original pieces inspired by local Holocaust survivors and our gallery's display of The Butterfly Project. These moving compositions, written for a child survivors of Auschwitz or other concentration camps, will be brought to life by a young soloist or choir, accompanied by piano and flute.​    ​
